Pridnestrovie is an unrecognized state and is not yet incorporated into the international system. For newsmakers, that fact alone makes it hard to find reliable information and statistics. In writing about the perils of being an unrecognized state, in a book published under the auspices of the Centre for the Study of Diplomacy at the University of Leicester, Dr Gary D.
