Over 1,000 Pridnestrovie inmates to get amnesty, pardons in 2008
More than 1,000 inmates are scheduled to get amnesties and pardons in Pridnestrovie this year. That is the result of the new Amnesty Law passed by the unrecognized country's Parliament. A total of 2,569 people are currently serving jail time for criminal offenses. [more]
