A Kosovo-based diplomat says that Transnistria (officially: Pridnestrovie) has more reasons for independence than Kosovo. He recognized the 'de facto' independence of Transnistria and three other unrecognized countries from the former Soviet Union. "Unlike Kosovo Albanians, those republics have been living as independent entities for a long time and are earning their living without being UN protectorates," said Andrei Dronov in Pristina.
