Moldova's top police officer accused of involvement in heroin smuggling ring
Following the arrests of three of his highest ranking police officers, Moldova's Minister of Interior Gheorghe Papuc is suspected of leading one of Europe's largest drug smuggling operations. The arrests reveal police involvement in a 10 million euro drug bust involving 200 kg's of heroin in Moldova.
