Georgia expects Abkhazia to get recognized statehood in 2008
The speaker of Georgia's parliament expects Abkhazia and South Ossetia to receive international diplomatic recognition in 2008. This will be the result of a unilateral Kosovo declaration of independence, and American disregard for UN Security Council resolution 1244.
