Russia's military chief of staff Yuri Baluyevsky says that "Russia has long ago carried out all of its CFE obligations". This includes the alleged "Istanbul commitments" which Moldova has falsely portrayed as a requirement to leave Transdniestria without any Russian peacekeeping participation.
