Moldova wants early release of Ivanţoc and Petrov-Popa
Moldovan authorities announced that they will step up pressure on Pridnestrovie to release Andrei Ivanţoc and Tudor Petrov-Popa. Their release was requested by the European Court of Human Rights in 2004. Pridnestrovie turned down an early release, arguing that they must serve out the remainder of their homicide sentences.
